Instructions for using Fractal Screensavers

The following instructions are guidelines for setting up each screensaver. These options are available trough the settings button when selecting the particular screensaver. See your Windows Help for more information on setting up screensavers.

General Information common to all savers

Cancel - closes window without saving any changes.
OK - closes window and saves all changes.
Default - closes window and sets all values to predefined defaults. This is the best place to start using the Screensaver. As you become more familiar with the Screensaver then the controls will make more sense.
Help - opens up this Windows help file.
Password enable checkbox - if available it enables password protection. When password is enabled the user must enter the correct password before the Screensaver will end and return to windows.
Change button - by pressing this button another dialog box appears. Here you may enter a password. Don't forget your password.

Note: the Screensavers work best with more colors. You should use as may colors as you can. The minimum should be 256 colors. The fractals look better with a greater number of colors. This does not apply to Squares.
