  • I find I like to browse sometimes as I search the web. Sometimes it could even be called fishing, but I like to think of it as research. I can keep what I find or release it, and then come back another day when it has grown larger, better and healthier. Each great URL that I have found is like a pool amongst the rapids, others though are even better for they are like the backwaters below a falls. It is here, I can attach a second fly that enhances the lead streamer and cast amongst the foam. Sometimes the river drys up, flows underground and can require a deep search to find where it will appear once more. One might even try and find a keeper of the river (or Web Master) or post the question to a group that might be able to point out something new or just unseen.

  • I have often found where there are no footprints or beaten path, lay some great secrets hidden in the undergrowth. Some places are so overgrown, swamp edged, and marsh filled that each step can feel like quick sand. It is here though, one can find a variety of wild life and picturesque secrets rarely known but that must be shared with others.

  • Some secrets are best shared only in private. They are of special places, and special people and special things. Here are two special, secret friends, in special places. The first is small, the second a little older. If you can tell me who they are and where it is they stand, you will win a day fishing.
